We had an amazing stay at Manduna Resort in Rote. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably maintained. Our room was gorgeous, comfortable, and spotless, and we loved the facilities, especially the sauna and yoga. The beach is absolutely stunning and the perfect place to unwind. The food was another highlight—everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. What truly made our stay special was the staff: everyone was kind, friendly, and helpful, and we felt completely safe and well looked after. We loved every minute and will definitely come back. We’ll also be telling all our friends and family in Australia about Manduna. It’s such a special place and we can’t wait to return. Thank you to the whole Manduna team for a beautiful experience.

“A special place, with incredible people and hospitality that goes far beyond expectations”

Getting from Brazil to Rote usually feels like a huge hassle, yet the owners of Manduna quietly handled every detail—from flights and airport pickup to surfboards and the little things most places overlook—making the whole trip feel almost effortless. We simply arrived and were already taken care of. That kind of seamless welcome is rare and generous, especially before the trip even really starts. During the stay, the private boat took us to breaks no other hotel on the island could reach. Boards and motorcycles were readily available with a friendly smile and no strings attached. Nights at the restaurant kept surprising us with a full‑board menu. The sauna ritual, followed by the island’s only ice bath, helped ease the soreness after long hours in the water. What I’ll remember most isn’t the waves or the facilities, but the people: Elias, Dena, Inki, Nenti, Ike, Max, Yogi, Yonix, Aldo, and every behind‑the‑scenes person whose name I wish I’d caught. You made us feel less like guests and more like friends someone had been waiting for. You anticipated our needs before we asked, making everything feel effortless and warm. To the owners and everyone involved: thank you for the logistics, the care, and the quiet grace. We left feeling softer than when we arrived and will return.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place really deserves one. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff are simply outstanding—always smiling, always available, and incredibly responsive. No matter what we needed or what time we asked, someone was there to help within minutes. Their hospitality is one of the biggest reasons our stay was so memorable. The breakfast was delicious and gave us a great start every morning. The facilities are excellent. As someone who enjoys staying active, I really appreciated the outdoor gym and yoga area. The beach tennis court was another unexpected highlight, with excellent rackets and balls provided—it was so much fun. The pool is beautiful and perfect for relaxing after surfing or exploring the island. We were also traveling with a child, and the hotel is fantastic for families. It strikes a great balance between being peaceful and welcoming for everyone. For surfers, one of the biggest advantages is that the boat transfers to the surf spots are included in the room rate at no extra cost. Everything is incredibly well organized, making every surf session easy and stress-free. Another thing we loved was the atmosphere. The guests were friendly, active, and respectful, which created a really positive vibe throughout the resort. We also appreciated all the little extras included during our stay. They weren’t expected, but they made us feel genuinely looked after and showed the attention to detail that sets this place apart. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We left with wonderful memories and will definitely be back the next time we visit Rote Island.

“Sehr entspannend viel Abenteuer.”

The accommodation is fantastic! We were picked up on time at the airport and greeted very warmly. The whole team is friendly and organizes great boat trips. There are also many activities on site like kayaks, SUPs, squad rides, slacklining, jetski, and a well-equipped fitness area. The property has the best beach on the island. Everything is superb—thanks to the great team!
