The hostel lives up to its description – right in the middle of everything, perfect for catching a rideshare to the Dock Station, Ver‑O‑Peso market and the other sights. Belém’s heat showed up in a faint mold odor that clung to the room and even the towels, which was a bit off‑putting. Aside from that, the host was super friendly and made us feel welcome.
