The location is decent. The beds feel like sleeping on the floor, the parking lot is tiny and awkward, breakfast is very basic, the hotel is very dark, and the pool gets no sun so it’s freezing cold.

The hotel's location and peaceful atmosphere were a major plus, but unfortunately, the room itself was a bit of a letdown. The bathroom was outdated, with signs of mold and a lack of a window screen in the shower, which let in mosquitoes. While the staff was generally friendly, one person was particularly unwelcoming. The balcony was more like a technical space for the AC unit, and the pool was unheated and shaded all day, making it quite chilly.

The staff at this hotel really went out of their way to make me feel welcome. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly and helpful, speaking perfect English despite being in a non-touristy area. The room was small but spotless, and the location was perfect for exploring the city on foot. The only downside was that the walls were a bit thin, and I could hear the people in the next room snoring, but overall it was a great value for the price.

The hotel's tranquil atmosphere and comfortable bed were definite highlights of my stay. However, the breakfast situation was a bit of a hassle - you have to order it the day before, which might not be ideal for those who like to sleep in or change their minds. Despite this, the peaceful surroundings and decent sleep made up for the minor inconvenience. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, albeit with a few quirks.
