The place was clean and the location was great for an overnight stay with a colonial vista, but the narrow stairs in the loft were difficult to navigate with my severe glute injury and luggage, and I couldn’t find the living room or kitchen lighting, so I had to use my MOB Torch.

The spot was great, and the double bed was super comfy. But we were three adults, and there were only two armchairs plus a wobbly dining chair for watching TV. The table and chairs for eating were in bad shape; my father‑in‑law slipped off after a loud crack and hit his head on the fireplace. Outside lighting was weak, making it hard to spot the driveway and door lock. Rugs posed a tripping risk, and the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly, which made bathroom visits uncomfortable. The shower temperature was hard to regulate. The welcome basket was a nice touch, but it was sized for two guests while we were three. The dishwashing liquid was too diluted to be effective. Despite these issues, the place is charming and the location is spot‑on; it just needs a bit of TLC.
