“Comfortable and everything needed”
The staff were really friendly and helpful, but it was a bit expensive for just one night.

The room was huge, as was the bathroom, and although we didn’t get a lake view we did have a room with independent access, which was perfect for us smokers. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the complimentary coffee and tea came with a kettle plus cookies, potato chips, still water and sparkling water. The flat‑screen TV was large and modern. Nothing was wrong – it was a bit pricey, as all Scottish accommodation tends to be, but among the six places we stayed in Scotland this one offered the best balance of quality and price.

It was very close to everything, including the cute downtown area. The hairdryer didn’t work, the rooms were very humid with no ventilation except the window and it was raining outside. The hotel also charged me more than I expected for my stay.

Spacious room with clean en suite. Tired decor with grubby, faulty curtains

The location is amazing and the staff were helpful. The only downsides were the rain‑water noise from the rooftop and the heating system shutting down after 7 am.
