I stayed in the deluxe double opposite the pool, the bed was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was fantastic. I like that the bathroom had a step down into the shower area so that water didn't get in to the main bathroom! The pool was clean & a great way to cool off and spend the day if the weather allows. Some umbrellas for shade or cushions for comfort would be a really nice touch. The hosts were fabulous and the breakfast was large and tasty. They will also help you arrange your safari :) I struggled with the amount of flies that were always on the terrace which meant I wasn't able to sit out there too often (not the fault of the owners but just be aware of this!) You may also see frogs, large & small lizards, dogs, cats, dragonflies and bats so if you're not in to nature you may not appreciate this.

The family’s kindness was rare and generous, caring from start to finish; they helped me plan visits, find good spots, and ease my travel. The breakfast was a typical Sri Lankan spread, the room was spotless, and I enjoyed a superb view of Lion’s Rock from the window.

It was a super cozy place with a pool, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was included and tasty, and you could also get dinner at a low price.

“Goede uitvalsbasis”

Our host was incredibly friendly, and upon arrival we were given drinks and could discuss the safari! The room was tidy and the beds were very comfortable, plus the breakfast tasted good. We stayed in the low season, so the city felt a bit less lively, but we were a large group of girls, and don’t forget to bring cash for the accommodation.
