The hotel sits near the sea, between the main Cannery Row area and the harbor, making both spots a quick 10‑15 minute walk; parking is hassle‑free even if you arrive early, and a cycle/walking coastal path passes right by. However, most of the rooms are tucked away, so sea views are limited or nonexistent, and a busy road on one side brings some noise.

The spot was spot on, just a short stroll to the fisherman’s wharf and the hotel sent me an email with my room number and access code—no keys needed. The balcony was small but fine, and the room was a decent size. Parking was paid but straightforward and handy. The place felt a bit dated and worn in some areas, but otherwise it was okay.

The hotel sits right in the heart of the tourist district, so everything’s within walking distance and you won’t need a car. It’s amazing. Parking costs $16 per night plus tax; I paid for the first night, then on the second day I went to the office to pay for the second night but they charged me twice and promised a refund. On the third day, as I was leaving, they automatically charged me for another day. I called them and they said they’d refund me. This is terrible.

The location was great, the place was clean, and there was a coffee machine in the lobby. On the last night the battery for our door went out, making it complicated; we couldn’t really hear the voice on the door lock.
