The reception was super friendly and met my requests. The box‑spring bed ensured restful sleep. A kettle and accessories were in the room. There was a free parking spot right at the house, where my car could stay on the day of departure while I hiked the Brocken. The walk to the Braunlage attractions, shops and cafés was short. The breakfast was lovingly arranged with filter coffee.

Breakfast was fine for me: fresh rolls, sausage, cheese, jam, yogurt, coffee, everything was there. The owner’s friendliness was very refreshing and good. There are parking spots for a few cars or motorcycles, but no motorcycle garage or covered spot. I felt comfortable there during my stay. A motorcycle parking spot would have been nice, but it wasn’t available. Otherwise, I missed nothing.

The place sits nicely in the green, a charming traditional house with very attentive and friendly service, and the breakfast buffet was really good.
