“Adequate but likely wouldn’t come back.”

Conveniently located, the water pressure was good and the breakfast decent, and the bed was comfy. However, the building felt very aged, the room was very dark, the bathroom counter was slanted and looked hand‑painted, and the hotel was almost empty with only a handful of cars in the parking lot while other hotels in town were sold out. The main hallway (see photo) resembled a detention center, and the laminate floors in the room were gritty with sand or something, making it unpleasant to walk on with bare feet.

The location is great, but walking into the room revealed stale cigarette smoke, a musky damp moldy odor, and the bathroom smelled like someone had just left a poo. The bathroom door didn’t close properly, the fridge failed and froze our lunches, and we received 2 double beds instead of the promised 2 Queen beds. Construction was happening, the restaurant was closed, and breakfast advertised through bookings wasn’t offered. A jackhammer was blasting above our room as late as 11:30 pm and as early as 8:30 am, and the light fixtures were shaking like they were about to fall out (I have videos).

“Not likely ever again”

The stay was just okay; the price didn’t match the quality of the rooms. A family member was handed a room, yet there were still people inside late at night when we checked in, and the staff seemed unaware of the situation—something I’ve never experienced before.

“I probably won’t stay here again.”

Breakfast food was decent but lacked juice or fruit options. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. On arrival I was told my reservation was canceled because no credit card was linked, even though I’d booked just 4 hours earlier and provided my card. I arrived very late at night, exhausted, and when I came downstairs the next morning I saw signs that the fire alarm wasn’t working and a fire watch was in effect; I didn’t see the signs last night because I was so tired and the check‑in staff didn’t mention it—a serious safety issue. Both beds in my room were visibly sagging, though the one I chose to use was reasonably comfortable.
