The room is spacious, the bed is very comfortable—once you lie down you fall asleep instantly and it feels clingy, so you’re reluctant to get up. Breakfast changes daily and tastes great. The homestay has a washing machine, so staying multiple days isn’t a problem for dirty clothes. The city center and Shui Tou Pier are both nearby. Nothing disliked.

The owner is genuinely helpful, asking in advance if you need breakfast or meal times, and the breakfast is unique, tasty, and generous. If you don’t eat much, you can talk to the owner beforehand to avoid waste. He also thoughtfully prepares mosquito repellent. The rooms are distinctive; the exterior looks like an old house, but inside there are many modern amenities. It’s my first stay in an old house and it perfectly matched my expectations. I’d choose it again. No negatives—everything was great. If you’re a light sleeper, consider earplugs; the alarm is a bird call in the morning (I actually love it, it feels very natural).

The staff are friendly and the breakfast features local specialties. Some rooms lack heating, so it can be cold in winter.
