Nothing. Extreme noise – even on weekdays, music and noise reverberate late into the night, making sleep impossible. False promises – I was promised in writing a quiet room on the 3rd floor where no noise would be heard, which was a lie. Arriving exhausted late at night, I had to endure teeth grinding. No accommodation or refund – after a sleepless night I told the hotel I could not stay the second booked night, yet they insisted on the full price for a night I never used. Disrespectful owner – at checkout the owner behaved extremely rude, even accusing me of deliberately provoking the situation. In short, I quickly booked another, much nicer hotel for the second night and salvaged my stay in Çanakkale. Avoid this place if you don’t want to waste your money and nerves.

The location is central, just steps from the promenade, surrounded by countless restaurants and pubs offering endless choices, and the price‑to‑quality ratio feels fairly fair; however, anyone who needs absolute quiet should look elsewhere because the neighbourhood’s nightlife brings music and chatter at least until midnight (and sometimes later), and my shower phone broke, I reported it but no repair came until the next day, so I left without being able to shower.

“Muchísimo ruido, imposible dormir”

The noise is horrible. The hotel sits on a street full of pubs with very loud music; specifically, the hotel is right above a bar. Even with all the windows shut, the noise is overwhelming and continues until 2 a.m. It’s a nightmare.

It was within walking distance of the ferry, restaurants, and the waterfront. What a lovely, pretty city.
