“Una bella struttura per un soggiorno più lungo”
The property is beautiful and well kept; our room was large with an enormous bed, plenty of space for luggage, and a small kitchen, fridge, microwave, electric fireplace, and all comforts. We stayed on the first floor, so moving our suitcases was super convenient. The building is a historic house without an elevator. There is a private parking lot reserved for guests at no extra cost (hard to find in Providence), which we didn’t use because we rented a car before arriving. The bathroom was very nice and had everything needed. There is a common room where you can get tea, coffee, and water anytime, even late at night. The breakfast room is pretty, with two service windows. Both cold and hot breakfast options are available, and the menu changes daily. Upon arrival, they gave us a city map and a guide with all events and attractions. They’re well organized, helpful, and discreet. Free Wi‑Fi is excellent. We were happy with everyone. The location isn’t the most convenient for walking around Providence; it’s close to the parliament, but you really have to walk a lot to reach other parts of the city. We took Uber several times because walking would have taken too long to reach places we wanted. A major traffic artery (about 11 lanes) runs near the property, and from our room you could hear some car noise at night, which wasn’t very pleasant.
The breakfasts were wonderful: we looked forward to the varied menu options every day and it was such a lovely start to the day. Wonderful cookies were provided in the room. The proprietor was so gracious and informative about recommendations and activities around Providence and the wider area. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was great, parking was adequate, and a mini‑fridge was available in the room. There is a shared common area for food and snacks outside of breakfast time. It’s within walking distance of downtown activities, although we often drove. There’s a lovely coffee shop next door as well. Nothing to dislike. The television is smaller, the bathroom style is somewhat dated. It sits along the highway corridor, so on the patio you hear highway sounds, but they’re not audible inside the building – overall a very charming experience.
Really cute and cozy, with a good breakfast and super nice staff who were very accommodating of my food allergies. For the breakfast to be excellent, some fiber would be nice, like a salad, chia, or berries; it was very protein and carb heavy.
“Would definitely return when I am in Providence.”
Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was spectacular. Nothing else to note.
Accommodation and food were excellent. No negatives.
