How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.

The location is very beautiful in the jungle, but it is very inconvenient because of the distance and the way to get there from Old Bank. The main problem is the impractical location. The restaurant was closed during the week we went, and the kitchen was very rudimentary.

“If you want to relax in the woods, this may be your place!!”

The cabin is a nice wood with pretty tiles in the bathroom. There is a balcony with hammocks, surrounded by many trees, and you can see the sea in the distance. Jen is a good cook. I especially liked the breakfast tortilla. It is very peaceful and relaxing (when there is no construction). The shower has hot water. And, amazingly, there were no mosquitos! This is not Jen's fault. The road to get up to Pure Roots is steep, which I was prepared for. But when it rains, the hill becomes super treacherously slippery. It is quite dangerous. My feet went out from under me many times, and I was wearing treaded sneakers. Although I did see a red frog and some birds, I had hoped to see monkeys or a sloth in the woods, but no luck.

“Ideal para desconectar”

Jen was very helpful and attentive at all times. The cabin had beautiful views of the jungle and the sea. It was very cozy, ideal for relaxing and disconnecting.

“Lugar único, limpio y con vistas maravillosas.”

The unique natural setting, spotless room, stunning views, and the chance to practice yoga in such a special spot made my stay memorable, and Jen was very kind. It met all my expectations.

“Logement immersif dans la nature de bastimientos”

The owner is very welcoming and helpful! Chickens roam around, there's a dog, and plenty of nature, creating an immersive atmosphere in Isla Bastimientos; we could even spot birds from our room. Even without air‑conditioning, the temperature is very comfortable for sleeping and living, and the fan helps a lot. Breakfast and dinner are very good. The accommodation is dark, and the path to reach it is a short hike.
