“혼자만의 조용한 여행에 적극 추천합니다.”
I finally made it back to the area around Ishikiri Station after more than a decade, and it turned out to be a decent pick for a solo, quiet trip. The place sits on a fairly steep hill about a 6‑7 minute walk from the station, giving me a genuine taste of a Japanese house; the building is a bit aged but feels cozy and spotless. Because it operates like a guesthouse, the bathroom and shower are shared (you might get them to yourself if no one else is around). When I stayed at the end of July 2026 the washing machine was out of service – I’m not sure if it was being repaired or just broken. The host was very courteous, and even managed some Korean, which could be handy for Korean travelers.
