Bosogo Yurt camp

A fantastic place to stay with an amazing location and wonderful hosts who looked after me. They couldn’t give me the room I originally booked, so they upgraded me for free, which was very kind.

“Lovely little guest house in a beautiful orchard!”

A super cute guesthouse right in the middle of an apple and apricot orchard, a short walk from the lakeshore. We loved the cozy garden area. The managers upgraded us to a better room when we arrived because it had rained the night before and the yurts were unusable. The beds were super comfy, the bathrooms modern and clean, with excellent water pressure and reliable hot water throughout our stay. The area is about 10 minutes outside Bokonbayevo centre in a place called Tong; the Google Maps location doesn’t show a formal address but it’s correct. If you’re passing through Bokonbayevo, getting a taxi from a local stand is easy—most drivers know the resorts in Tong and we had no trouble finding it. The only drawback was breakfast, which seems to be prepared all at once around 8 am; if you arrive later your plate is just cold. It would help to either tell guests a specific time or make things like omelets fresh when people actually arrive.

The camp is comfortable, the owner is nice, and I love the apple and apricot offerings. The toilet is clean, but the water is cold. Overall very comfortable. Breakfast was lacking.

The place is a green, peaceful oasis with very friendly, helpful, and honest staff, and a variety of lodging options.
