The room was clean and the staff were friendly, but the air‑conditioner didn’t work and the room was right next to the highway with no sound insulation. It was hot, the AC was useless, and drunk people yelling on the footpath woke me several times each night. I couldn’t get any sleep, and because I had to be at the bride’s hotel at 5 am and didn’t get back until 10 am, I had no chance to ask for another room.

The hotel was near shops but on a busy road, which didn’t keep us from sleeping. Bookings.com misrepresented the room on its website; we paid for an apartment on one level but it was actually on two floors, so we couldn’t use it because of our disability. The staff offered a standard ground‑floor room instead, but it lacked the kitchen we wanted. They apologized, but the mistake wasn’t the motel’s fault.

We got a pleasant welcome, and the staff suggested we go to the Tavern for dinner, where the steaks were excellent. Nothing to note otherwise.
