The rooms were very comfortable, but the service was awful—especially Yadira the manager and a man named Lazaro (a Cuban gentleman) who was arrogant and sarcastic. I never experienced such poor treatment and disregard. One day we arrived from the beach at 16:30 and the room was still unfinished. Instead of apologising, they took half an hour to finish it. It was a disaster. They tried to charge a fee of 35 dollars a day for beach use, but the beach was unusable because of sargassum, foul smells, and brown water.

The location on Miami Beach was convenient, but the rooms weren’t cleaned and the towels weren’t replaced even after we threw them on the floor. When we asked for new ones, we only received two towels for five people. The hotel is old, and our rooms were in a very worn‑out part that needs renovation.

The trolley system was a plus. The room had a mildew smell; the carpet felt wet and soggy, and the drawers carried an odor. Hot water worked only sporadically, and housekeeping was rude—knocking on the door without greeting, then entering and staring as if I were crazy. It was hard to get the room cleaned just by asking for towels. The balcony step was awkward and hit my foot and ankle many times. I wish I could get a refund and forget this horrible experience. The pool was tiny, so I didn’t get any resort vibe, especially after paying the resort fees. Hallways on the eighth floor smelled like urine, and they’re good at spraying lemon fragrance to create the illusion of cleanliness.
