The house inside was very nice and clean. We made a reservation with Coyote Bluff Estate. The house we rented is owned by the same people, but is not part of Coyote Bluff Estate nor are guests welcome to go there, even to the common areas. They have the Somers house listed on Coyote Bluff Estate website as one of the options; but the house is off property. It is behind a Best Western, right beside a run down garage, and looks directly at a very busy gas station and truck stop. This property has terrible atmosphere and should not be advertised on Coyote Bluff Estate website as it is a totally different property. The owner (wife) made it very clear the day we were arriving to the house that there was no reason for us to come to Coyote Bluff Estate as we were not staying there. I was confused because her husband confirmed with me right after we paid for the reservation that even though the Somers house was off property we were welcome at the estate common areas. The price was over 4x more than the cost to stay at the Best Western in front of it. We called immediately when we got there and explained that the location especially for the price was unacceptable. We explained we booked for the atmosphere and common areas. We were fine with the house being off property if the surroundings were similar to the main house and we had access to the estate itself; but neither were the case. We stated we wouldn’t go into the house but wanted a full refund. The owner, Eric kindly agreed to give us a refund and let us stay that night to sleep as it was after 10pm when we arrived. The next day he did offer to give us a room for my husband and I at the estate and our sons (all over 18) could stay at the Somers house off property. We declined because the location of the Somers house is terrible and we wanted to stay together as a family. He did process our refund; but we had to hurry to find new accommodations for 4 days available starting that day

The place was very good, though the views from the house were lacking.

The venue was fantastic and private for our family, and the updates were very handsome. The hallway bathroom’s shower ran lukewarm and ran out quickly, which makes us hesitant to re‑book; we’d only use the master bathroom’s shower or tub if we returned.

Breakfast cafés were nice, and the daily itineraries were helpful and spot on. The shower in the bathroom was too small to match the other luxurious amenities.
