Endroit paisible et décoré avec goût à quelques kilomètres de Saint Emilion, hors du temps !

Le calme, les chambres, l'environnement, mais il manque d'aération dans la chambre avec la salle de bain ouverte.

I liked that the owner prepared two generous platters of cold cuts for us, just as we had asked. We stayed at this agriturismo on August 7th and 8th. Unfortunately, we did not have a very pleasant experience for several reasons. Although the owner tries to be friendly, she has a rather abrupt and sometimes rude way of responding. For example, she repeatedly pointed out that there was a baby in the room next to ours and therefore we should not make any noise (we are a couple in our 50s with children aged 20 and 16, not a group of unruly teenagers). At another point, she asked us what time we wanted to have the cold cuts because she also has a life and other things to do. I understand that this is a farmhouse and that the owner may not have had any formal training in hospitality, but unfortunately she does not have a natural sense of warmth or courtesy either. The furniture in the rooms is old, and our room had a noticeable smell of mould. There was also no air conditioning, and it was extremely hot. However, what bothered me the most was the presence of a sow and her piglets freely wandering around the garden, close to the small swimming pool, leaving dirt around as animals naturally do. I really believe that this should not be allowed, as it could potentially pose a health risk, especially for the children who were staying there. All in all, it was a very unpleasant experience, which fortunately lasted only two nights!
