Chris and Nicki were outstanding hosts, attentive and knowledgeable about the area, and everything was easy for them. The B&B was exceptionally clean, the bedroom very comfortable and cosy. Breakfasts were excellent and plentiful. Nothing was missing – everything was perfect.

The property is lovely – a quiet location, a beautifully maintained old house with nice furnishings and atmosphere. The bedroom I stayed in was super comfortable and luxurious, with nice extra touches and even a mini fridge. Breakfast was plentiful with many options; I especially liked the mini marmites and freshly laid eggs. But the absolute highlight was Nicky and Chris – communication before arrival was excellent and they were genuinely friendly, going out of their way to make my stay extra special and comfortable. Nicki even picked me up at the end of a long day of hiking and ensured I had enough for my packed lunches. They are a genuinely lovely couple who clearly love their home and what they do. Thank you both so much 🙏🏼. Nothing.

A charming cottage, well equipped, with welcome treats on arrival. I enjoyed the chocolate and flapjack, and the setting was great. Chris guided us around the property and was very responsive, answering questions quickly. I’ll definitely return. I can’t think of anything negative.
The room was well equipped, comfortable, and homely, with plenty of space for a week away. Breakfast was great every day – I had scrambled eggs made from freshly laid eggs, which is unbeatable. In the evenings I had plenty of space to relax, work, and unwind with my colleague. There was nothing I didn’t like.
