The location was fine, but the check‑in service was terrible. I had told the owner I’d arrive around 23:00, yet the guy who received me was clearly unwilling to help. He told me I was lucky to find him there because his wife, who usually runs the hostel, had left (even though I’d notified them). The room was tiny, with a wooden divider, and the window opened half into my room and half into the next room—laughable. Even when I closed the window completely, it still let in wind and made me feel cold at night. The bathroom had a ramp that dumped all the water right next to the toilet, so I had to balance on the porcelain like in São Paulo just to shower. It was insane. Worst experience ever.

I stayed in the suite and the bed was very comfortable, the shower was warm, and the place was quiet enough to sleep. The only downside was that there were only outlets for charging a phone in the bathroom.
