“Worth the Walk”

The property looks plain from the road but inside it’s gorgeous, with a nice outdoor seating area and plenty of amenities like a washing machine and a small oven; it’s better to take a bus or drive from Mito station rather than walk, and although there’s no on‑site staff or booking‑app communication, speaking Japanese gets you very helpful phone support.

“値段に見合った手頃なお宿。”

I stayed alone in what felt like a guesthouse or a shared house, so I could relax in the spacious area without any worries. I was confused about locking the doors because it seemed like a homestay; I wasn’t sure if the owner would be back, and the key was inside a sliding door inside the house. The parking was also confusing, and even though there were almost no other guests, the available spots seemed almost nonexistent, which was a baffling situation.

I didn’t use the place this time, but the kitchen was well equipped and that was a plus.

“快適、旅人に優しい”

管理人さんがとても親切。置いてある本も自分の好みに合っていた。わんちゃんに優しくご対応いただきました。. 他の宿泊者さんガチャのようなところもありますが、 夜中12時前に帰宅されてガッチャンガッチャンお風呂に入ったり大音量でスマホYouTubeを見る方がいて、なかなか寝付けなかった。
