I stayed in a spot that was spot-on for everything I needed, but they still charged me a 50 dollár deposit that hasn't been refunded yet.

I was shocked to learn that parking cost an extra 48 dollars a day in taxes; my cousins had to relocate because of bed bugs, while our room was otherwise fine except for a squeaky bathroom door. The designated smoking areas lacked ash trays and umbrellas, and I had to report a large rat that was living in the wall of the smoking area.

The location and comfort were great, but the breakfast fell short— the pancake machine was awful, had no flavor, and didn't work well; a waffle maker would have been a welcome addition.

The staff were very friendly and my room was comfortable; breakfast was good and the coffee helped wake me up, and the hotel is close to the French Quarter, which I enjoyed exploring on foot.

The staff were nice and the facility was clean, but parking was a nightmare: my car was hit and run, and the private parking they are affiliated with has a sign that says “Park at your own risk” and costs about 40 usd a night.
