The spot is great and the owners are super friendly, and breakfast was solid. The room felt like a relic, not cozy at all, and the bathroom was outside the room, shabby, cramped, unhygienic, and smelled like plumbing.

The riad itself is traditional and gorgeous, and the breakfast was probably the best of the two weeks I spent in Morocco. The hosts, a very kind and attentive couple, did everything they could to make us comfortable despite language limits. The bed was incredibly comfy. The room was a bit chilly; we were in Fes during an unusually cold spell, and although there’s an electric heater, the large space meant it didn’t heat evenly.

We felt like we were living in a palace, which was the true Moroccan experience. The Drissi family were very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and the place is very close to the Medina.
