The property sits right on the KalabrianTrek route that my daughter and I hiked. The owner Nicola’s home is spotless and peaceful, and Nicola himself is gracious, thoughtful, and smart. We paid extra for a home‑cooked meal that was delicious, generous, and typical of the area. Breakfast, included in the room price, was lovely; Nicola even ran out early that morning to bring us fresh croissants. If you’re looking for a calm, welcoming place whether you’re hiking or just passing through, this is it—Calabria is stunning and Nicola embodies a touch of real Calabrese charm.

Nicolai is present and takes care of everything. We met a nice, friendly, warm, pleasant, essential, and positive man. The place is right on the KCTC trail, the bed was very comfortable, and the location is definitely clean and tidy, with a very nice and varied breakfast.
