Clean, good breakfast, large parking, close to green areas and a lake – perfect for an evening walk.
The location was good and the shower water was warm; they even provided a bottle of water. We stayed from 23.8 to 29.8.2026, booked a week but left a day early. There was no room service, so we had to make our own beds and pick up toilet paper and toiletries at the front desk. Some other guests mentioned that the bathroom and sauna were excellent, but neither were available to us. They claimed a signature was missing for opening, and the corridors hadn’t been cleaned in a while, so the carpets looked as described. The outdoor area was littered with leaves that had been under tables for a long time. Breakfast was simple but adequate; we often had to ask for items or wait until supplies were restocked. Every morning was the same. The toaster could only make two slices at a time and took a long time to brown the toast. Guests who stayed just one night probably didn’t notice these issues, which explains the overly positive reviews.
“Ich wünsche der Leitung des Hotels, dass sie das Personalproblem lösen und das Hotel erhalten können”
The responsible staff reacted quickly to the issues we reported, and the young woman at reception covered many gaps with enthusiasm and a constantly friendly smile, always available at the desk, during breakfast and in the restaurant for a quick chat. However, cleanliness was far from satisfactory; rooms were only cleaned after we asked, sometimes without towels and we even had to request toilet paper. Breakfast was acceptable, but for €27 we expected more variety and higher quality, such as fresh sausage, cheese, and fruit rather than packaged items. Even at €77 per night, whether a double or single, the room should have been clean. The €20 pet fee was mentioned but never charged.
“Dieses Hotel würde ich niemanden weiter empfehlen!! Zum Glück hatten wir nur eine Nacht!”
I was disappointed that for a one‑hour early check‑in I had to pay an extra 15 € even though the room was already ready. The room itself felt worn out, the mattress sank in, a glass still bore lipstick from the previous guest, and the hallway carpet was covered in dog hair and never cleaned. It was also very noisy.
The proximity to Serengeti Park was a plus, but the rooms were old, dirty, and clearly outdated. The bathroom was filthy and ancient.
