How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.

The proximity to the mangrove and the view of the water were great, and the breakfast was nice. The distance from the road was a drawback, the path was sandy, the bed was too hard, the meals were a bit light, and the price felt a little high.

We were traveling from Tofo to Vilanculo and, at the last minute, we found Canto dos Ameijoas while searching for a place to sleep in between. What a gem! It’s a beautiful house in front of the bay, very clean, well designed and decorated. We were lucky to be the only guests and the warm attention and care we received was beyond everything! We were welcomed with a fresh coconut in front of the beautiful sunset on the beach. Dinner at night was at the restaurant on the beach where they kindly set a table in front of the ocean for us. The food was delicious! The rooms are large, very clean, with air conditioning and an amazing sea view. We liked it so much that we decided to stay one more night and enjoy the whole day there the following day. After a big breakfast in front of the view, we relaxed on hammocks on the beach that were installed for us. We went for a nice long walk on the beach at low tide, then did a kayak between the mangrove at the end of the day with the high tide at sunset—it was magical. They also offered boat excursions to islands or birdwatching. We recommend 100%! Perfect stay at this relaxing place! Thank you again to both of you for allowing this beautiful moment for us and we wish you the best for the future.

“My Review”

The place is well located for those who are seeking a place to relax and distress. We were so impressed by the staff, the reception was good. The hospitality is of a high standard; even though it was for one day, we felt like we were home. We highly grateful enjoyed the breakfast, it was top Compliments to the staff as well as to management. Few areas of improvement: The bathroom door does not have a lock. The shower basin has no sufficient screen to protect water from sprinkling out, which ends up flooding the floor. Shower water pressure is too low (provision of hot water is not effective)
