A bus stop is just one block away, and there are restaurants nearby. The owner is very kind and attentive, there are many animals, but the place is very clean and they give daily supplies, including a small breakfast, which is appreciated. It’s well connected and, for the price, a good option.

The room had very comfortable beds and the accommodation is very well located. The kitchen area was in the middle of the route to the rooms and was quite messy.

“Auf jeden Fall anders! (Aus europäischer Perspektive)”

The location is ideal, close to the harbor of the small ship. We found it somewhat strange that in another part of the building several cats were locked up and meowed on the windowsill. Luckily there were also some cats in the garden, and a small koi pond. Everything here is special and unusual; we had more luxury elsewhere for the same money, especially an ensuite bathroom. At night we heard absolutely no noise – absolute silence! I don’t know when I last experienced something like that. All in all, a real overall experience… There is no private bathroom, only two clean shared baths and two toilets. The breakfast options were not very appealing in terms of variety and presentation. The price‑value ratio was unbalanced.

“We absolutely loved our stay on Naoshima and Oyajino gave us a sense of being part of the village.”

A lively quirky little place; our room was upstairs and really beautiful with its glass‑screened hallway. The location in Honmura, right next to all the art project houses and a few minutes walk from the port and the bus stop, was perfect. I thought we could cook, but I might have misread the listing.

“Sympathique et cool.”

The location and the welcome from the slightly eccentric grandma with her cats were nice! It’s good that they provide toast, yogurt tea, and fruit for breakfast. Very calm in the heart of the village. There was a lack of a bigger breakfast area.
