How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The room was comfortable, the pool and garden were pleasant, and the location was good. The safe wouldn’t open during our four‑day stay, the telephone didn’t work at all, and a broken bathroom shelf wasn’t replaced but instead a huge wicker armchair was put in its place. One of the sun loungers by the pool broke and collapsed while I was using it. And so on.

The rooms were well sized and clean, and the shower was very large. Breakfast had an amazing selection and high quality, but the staff were strict about not letting you take food from the dining room— I saw a couple handed over an apple and a pear, which seemed a bit excessive. The pool area was small but clean, and the water felt too cold to jump in even though it was >30 °C outside. The location was great; we could walk to both Registan and Shah‑I‑Zinda, though it was a fairly long walk, but we didn’t want to miss the sights on the way. The central bazaar is walkable too, and there’s a properly secured ATM nearby. Check‑in took longer than it should have, and the reception staff didn’t seem very organized.

The staff tried to help. We booked a large room but it had many problems with the bathroom water systems. When we complained, they offered a lower‑rate room without refunding the extra amount we paid, and the staff insisted they had no other option.

The front desk and housekeeping were both excellent, but the breakfast was disappointing because the manager only stocked items when asked and never restocked them unless requested. The yogurt packs arrived late, after we had finished breakfast, and when we tried to take them to our room, the manager was rude and told us we couldn’t.
