The owner was friendly and the place sits in a quiet spot close to the main areas—though the island is small, so you’re never far. Free bikes and a kitchenette with a fridge made it feel like a tiny apartment, plus they supplied water and coffee at no cost. The only downside was that closing the windows also blocked out light, leaving the room a bit dark.

On top of that, a pipe leak left the toilet wet, but the host fixed it after a few hours.
