This charming hotel has an eclectic lobby, and everyone we met was welcoming and helpful; breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and comfortable, and the walkable location to restaurants and shops was amazing—no complaints whatsoever, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The staff were lovely and the location great, but the bed was so uncomfortable that I tossed and turned all night, waking up with back pain, and the pillows were just as stiff. If it wasn’t the bed, it was the people upstairs—every movement rattled through the ceiling and I could even hear their voices at times. The “view” was a pipe in an alley that connects to a pub, so there was effectively no window and the room felt like a dungeon. It was also scorching hot, which made it impossible to sleep. It was truly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I hate posting a bad review because the staff were very kind, but it was miserable to travel and be unable to get any sleep. If they can only change one thing—the beds need to be upgraded.
