Nestled in the scenic Peckforton Hills of rural Cheshire, The Pheasant Inn occupies 300‑year‑old sandstone buildings with original features and cosy log fires. Rooms provide TV, tea/coffee facilities, and en‑suite bathrooms with free toiletries. The restaurant offers exposed beams, stone walls, and a British menu of local produce; the bar serves real ales, fine wines, and panoramic Cheshire Plains views.

I stayed there for a single night and found the spot unbeatable, the rooms cozy, and the breakfast outstanding, but a longer visit would let me truly soak up what the area and the Pheasant inn have to offer.

The room was solid, breakfast hit the mark, and the staff were welcoming, yet the dinner felt a touch underwhelming for the price.

The cottage was gorgeous, spotless, and overall a delightful stay that I’ll definitely return to ❤️.

The property looked immaculate and roomy, just what we needed, though the penultimate step was a bit sloping.
