The building and décor are sumptuous, and the service is meticulous. We were surrounded by nature and loved the walks, but the nearby highway adds enough noise to muffle the birdsong.

Everything was absolutely perfect. One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

The owner and staff were amazing, the breakfast was excellent, the room was super comfortable, the bathroom was wonderful, and the décor was absolutely beautiful. We also enjoyed the gardens, and our dog could sit outside with us.

The property is beautiful with amazing rooms and gardens. It’s a bit remote, about 15 minutes to Victoria, so a hotel there should always include breakfast—especially at this price. It’s a pity it didn’t. Breakfast was not included, and the extra 25 euros per person is too much. Dinner was disappointing.

From the instant we walked in, the old palace felt like a friend's living room. Maria, who was beautiful, efficient, calm and attentive, checked us in as if we were welcome guests, not just a transaction. The room was stunningly decorated, packed with modern conveniences, yet the historic character of the building remained obvious. Breakfast was a visual and culinary delight, with a buffet served right at our table—delicious! Everyone else was relaxed and friendly, and we even chatted with a lovely Irish couple in the sitting room for five happy hours, sharing stories. I truly felt like I had come home.
