The breakfast was amazing, and I loved being able to try all the bite‑sized dishes. After a long day, the private onsen was a great way to unwind, and the yukata provided was nice.

Everything was very luxurious and the room was spectacular. The private onsen was supposed to be a more natural experience with a mountain view, not a balcony overlooking a parking lot like a regular bathtub. I wanted to live the experience, but it turned out to be a normal bathtub supposedly filled with mountain water. The onsen wasn’t what I expected.

The breakfast buffet is delicious, and the traditional Japanese dinner, which can be booked as an add‑on, is also great. The private onsen is lovely for relaxing.

It smelled bad and had mold everywhere. At night we tried to leave the hotel for dinner, but they wouldn’t let us out without handing over the room keys, even though the room was already paid for that night. I could come and go whenever I wanted, but I was worried about someone entering the room or having to return quickly without keys. The beds were two single beds, and the private onsen in the room was just a semi‑outdoor bathtub with a regular tap, where insects accumulate. The regular shower was also outside, the toilet was far away, and the location was very remote – a total scam on the day I was most looking forward to.

The location is perfect, just 100 m from the waterfall, the rooms are incredible, and the onsens are exceptional. Nothing was wrong; everything was perfect!
