The hotel works fine for a single night; it lacks a restaurant or bar, yet the town is just a kilometer away, where the Chinese spot at the Bowling Club is highly recommended. The hotel sits on a very busy road with heavy traffic, but that doesn’t bother you at night.

The receptionist welcomed us warmly and the room featured a huge, new queen bed with electric blankets, and the air‑con heated up fast; however, the motel sits 2 km from town with no nearby eateries, offers almost no cutlery (not even cereal bowls), and we paid $164 for the night as the sole guests in a 16‑room property—overpriced for what it delivered.
