The staff were friendly, but the construction next door and the noise from the street and train when the windows were open made it loud.
“Für eine Nacht eine tolle Unterkunft direkt beim Bshnhof Arbon.”
Central location. The Juniorsuite offered a lake view and a lovely terrace. Parking cost CHF 12 for a night, and the hotel feels modern and new. Unfortunately, the windows weren’t well sound‑proofed; we heard traffic all night and sometimes trains passing in the Arbon yard. Also, a coffee maker should have been available in the Juniorsuite.
The room was clean and well equipped, but the hotel operates without staff. For people who aren’t tech‑savvy, it’s hard to navigate the self‑service entry because all doors are opened electronically via a mobile phone or a card that must be set up at the entrance.
“Un hôtel sans aucune âme et sans charme.”
I stayed in a room that had a balcony, which was great, but the room wasn’t ready at the advertised time and the blinds were out of order for a while. For a hotel of this level, having no front‑desk staff feels modern but not welcoming, and the price doesn’t really feel lower than other places.
“Gute Wahl”
The location was convenient and the rooms were spacious, bright and modern, though the breakfast could have been more thoughtfully prepared.
