The location is great and the staff are very friendly. The room is spacious and has a balcony. The rating of 9.5 is strange because there is no proper spa, pool, gym, or dinner restaurant—just a bar on the top floor with no food. Breakfast is mediocre. In the bathroom there were mold stains on the ceiling that were cleaned but not plastered. Maybe that’s because it’s a 4‑star hotel, not 5‑star. But in hotels like Orb, Booking scores are much lower for 5‑star properties. It’s unclear what that means. In short, be careful when picking hotels in Batumi. We chose one via GPT chat, which also gave glowing reviews, yet the local reviews are surprising. Perhaps this is the typical level of leisure in Batumi, or if you want something higher, go for top‑tier brands like Sheraton, Radisson, etc.
