“Amazing and will be back”
Everything was perfect. Nothing at all to complain about.
“Countryside perfect! We will be back.”
The peaceful surroundings and glamping type arrangements were just perfect. The Large enclosed orchard was great too allowing the dogs to run free, loads of wildlife and really comfortable and clean sleeping and bathroom facilities. Bonus - hot tub, BBQ, fresh coffee, music speakers, fans, reclining deckchairs and lanterns for night which made it feel really pretty and a real treat. Nothing was perfect ! Loads of thoughtful additions to make the stay uber convenient . You need to plan for 12v electric only if you need to plug in but you really don’t want to so you can enjoy the peace !
“Absolutely amazing!”
The hut was gorgeous and fully equipped, surrounded by stunning scenery and silence that made it feel like home, and honestly I loved every single detail!
Peaceful, cosy and wonderfully dog friendly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a lovely stay at The Delkin Shepherds Huts in Castle Combe. It’s a wonderfully peaceful little escape, surrounded by countryside with so much space around you — perfect if you want to switch off for a few days and get away from everything. The shepherd’s hut itself was gorgeous: cosy, rustic and full of character, but with all the comforts you need. We loved the traditional wooden interior, the incredibly cosy beds and all the quirky little touches. The wood-burning stove made it especially lovely in the evening, and having a proper shower and bathroom facilities inside the hut was a real bonus. Outside is just as lovely. The huts sit in a large, peaceful grassy area with fruit trees and open countryside beyond, so you never feel overlooked or crowded. There’s plenty of room to sit outside, a firepit, a covered seating area and a fantastic little outdoor cooking/bar area. The wood-fired hot tub was definitely a highlight too! It’s also genuinely dog friendly, rather than simply somewhere that allows dogs. There was loads of outdoor space for our dog to enjoy, and the owners had even thoughtfully provided a dog bed and bowls, which was such a lovely touch and made us feel that our four-legged guest was every bit as welcome as we were. 🐾❤️ What we loved most was the feeling of peace and simplicity. You can sit outside with a drink, listen to the countryside around you and completely unwind. Even when the weather wasn’t perfect, it somehow added to the cosy shepherd’s-hut feel. A beautiful, quirky and relaxing countryside stay in a lovely part of the Cotswolds. We left feeling properly refreshed and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, genuinely dog-friendly escape. We would definitely stay again. There was nothing to dislike!
“Idyllic countryside stay”
Allison’s farm is really beautiful and we really loved our stay. We were there for a special occasion and she left out Prosecco for us which was so kind. You have everything you need there for a BBQ and a fire. The wood fired hot tub kept us entertained for the whole evening. We will definitely be back!. Nothing to report
