The staff were really friendly and helpful, which made the stay feel welcoming. The only downside was the TV – it’s old and could use an upgrade.

The place was quiet and the staff were nice. When we got there in the evening, there was a small kitchenette with yogurt and cereal ready for us – a nice touch after a long drive. The only hiccup was parking: it’s a few kilometers away, and the GPS still pointed to a Petro‑Canada that’s gone, so there’s no gas station in town. I just left my key on the counter when I left.

Breakfast was limited, but I was mostly after good coffee, and it wasn’t bad at all. I also got some yogurt, which was a nice bonus. The room looked good, but there were a lot of bare walls – a few local photos would have made it feel more complete.

I absolutely love this inn and the town – the people are amazing and everything feels exceptional.

A snow storm the day before left the parking lot unplowed, so getting around was a real challenge.
