It was a lovely oasis with beautiful gardens and the staff were lovely; the property itself was charming, a 15‑minute walk to town that feels longer when it’s hot, and dinner is available by prior arrangement.

The property was lovely, with beautiful and very peaceful grounds. The rooms were immaculate, the food delicious, and the staff incredibly helpful and kind. They assisted me with all my ground arrangements, including activities in Zambia, visiting the falls, and airport transfer. Thank you team for a star experience!

We loved our stay at The Courtney Lodge! The accommodation was fabulous with beautiful grounds and lovely shared spaces that made for an incredibly relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful—nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They answered every email promptly before we arrived and helped organise all our trips, transfers, and taxis during our stay. We were sad to leave this tranquil oasis and would highly recommend The Courtney Lodge. Thank you for a fabulous stay. We loved everything!

We adored Courtney Lodge—staff amazing, location terrific, grounds superb, food excellent, within walking distance of the Falls, and the property was super charming. Our host was extra accommodating, helping us sort out a tour we had organized from Australia, which was very helpful and much appreciated. The only critique is that drivers charging USD10 for a 1.5 km fare into town seemed excessive, and it would have been nice if the Lodge offered an evening shuttle service (when we were advised not to walk due to local wildlife).
