How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The bathroom and air conditioning were satisfactory. The room was damp with an insect coming out of the baseboards. The duvet was stained, which we didn’t use. A bath towel was also stained. Dust on furniture and the table. It felt like the cleaning hadn’t been thorough. No TV. Lack of security and lighting outside at night.

The reception was friendly and the place was quiet, except for a bit of noise from a neighbor on a Sunday morning. That Sunday morning noise was the only downside.

The property is gorgeous and the location is perfect for nature lovers. The owner, a very friendly and helpful lady, went out of her way to make our vacation comfortable.

The owner was extremely welcoming, very nice, and let us arrive later because we had a road problem. She was there to greet us despite the late hour, smiling and patient. She also accepted our dog. I recommend this atypical spot in the heights of Mandelieu for its absolute calm.

Nothing positive. Unfortunately, this stay was a huge disappointment and did not meet our expectations at all. From the moment we entered the room, an unpleasant, biting smell hit us. It quickly became clear that the accommodation is apparently used regularly by dogs, as dog hair was everywhere. I’m not opposed to animals in general, but I expect a clean room in a paid accommodation. Walking barefoot in the room was not an option because of the floor condition. The bed and linens left no hygienic impression; the sheets smelled musty and not like freshly washed fabric. The entire furniture looked heavily worn and in need of renovation. The access to the basement apartment was especially negative; that area was unkempt and had a strong dog‑feces odor in the air, leaving a very bad first impression upon arrival. The only bright spot was the bathroom, which seemed relatively new and gave a decent impression. The host was friendly and polite, but friendliness alone cannot compensate for the lack of cleanliness and overall poor condition of the accommodation. We definitely will not stay there again.
