It’s close to the sea, but the property needs repairs; roaches were found in the bedroom and bathroom, and cobwebs were on the porches.

We absolutely loved staying at Tamarind Reef Resort & Spa and would happily return! We stayed in a Deluxe King Studio, and the room was incredibly spacious. The location is wonderful, the views are absolutely spectacular, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and loved waking up to those beautiful St. Croix views. I do want to mention a few things simply so future guests know what to expect. The property is older and right on the water, so some wear, weathering, and rust is completely understandable. Our room did have several maintenance issues – the screen on the door was broken, the shower head wasn’t secured to the wall and had very little water pressure, the stovetop had a broken piece, there was a hole in the ceiling, and the closet door was broken. We did not bring these issues to the staff’s attention during our stay because they honestly didn’t bother us enough to take away from our vacation. I’m only mentioning them here so future guests have realistic expectations. With that said, we would absolutely come back! The beautiful location, incredible views, spacious room, and wonderful staff far outweighed the maintenance issues for us. If you’re expecting a brand‑new, perfectly polished resort, you may notice some of the age and wear, but for us, the charm, location, and overall experience were what mattered. We made wonderful memories here, absolutely loved our stay, and would gladly choose Tamarind Reef again! 🌴🌊

The location is awesome – right on the water. The staff is amazing – nice, friendly, and accommodating. There’s a restaurant and pool on site, and it’s close to lots of places in the marina. The parking was a little inconvenient, not close to the rooms and sometimes crowded.

The room was decent but could use an upgrade, the view was nice but the balcony lacked privacy.
