All good, nothing to add.
“Excelente lugar para familias”
The rooms are very good—spacious, with a very convenient little kitchen and comfortable bathrooms. The mattress type isn’t my favorite (too soft for my taste). I’d recommend covering the air‑conditioner evaporators on the balconies.
“Just ok”
The bed was comfy. The receptionist told us at check‑in that we could do a late check‑out an hour later without issue, but we had to call. The next morning the second receptionist said it was impossible and we’d be charged if we passed 11:00 am. When you pay $400 at night, that’s ridiculous. I also called for extra blankets, but we never received them; we had to come to the lobby to request them in person.
The staff were very helpful, but the food was amazing!
“Do not pay extra for the "Mountain View". (see photo)”
The resort is near Park City, a beautiful spot, and the lobby felt open and relaxed. My check‑in was one of the worst I’ve experienced; the initial contact was perfunctory at best. I had booked a mountain‑view room, but when I entered I found it on the ground floor looking at the parking lot (two floors below the photo). When I went back to the front desk to point out the mistake, I was told I hadn’t paid for the room, that it was complimentary with the equestrian group (??), and that was my assigned room. I showed my receipt and insisted there was an error, but the only reply was, “Well, then you’ll just have to reach out to that third‑party vendor.” After I went back to the open, relaxing lobby to find contact info, she called me back to say she’d found another available room and handed me the keys to the same room from the photo. I’d just driven 10 hours to get there, so I didn’t push further. The Park City area has spectacular mountain views worth paying extra for. If the room indicated what Black Rock Mountain Resort considers a view, I warn fellow travelers against paying extra for the experience.
