“Falsely advertised room”
The exterior looked beautiful, but the room I was falsely advertised to get was not the room I actually received.

We booked Fanhams Hall for our wedding night and were really pleased with the stay; the staff were lovely and even gave us a chocolate brownie as a newlywed gift, the room was good and the views from it were great, and walking through the gardens the next day felt magical. The only hiccup was a miscommunication when I booked with my then‑fiance’s card under my user in the system, which prompted the hotel to ask for additional bank details online—a step I wasn’t comfortable with; after several exchanges they agreed to verify my information in person at the front desk during check‑in, and the issue was resolved.

The breakfasts were fine, but unfortunately the room was too hot and lacked air conditioning, so I had to leave the night early.
