The spot was fine, but the room felt more like a spare bed wedged between storage cabinets and a bench in a storage room—no space to move. The roller blind stuck halfway, and a note on the bench warned not to lift it. Evening lighting was just a single lamp in a library, and the bedside lamp was a clip-on that hung on the edge of a fruit bowl. There was no lock or key for the room door. At check‑in, the hostess asked me to remove my shoes and offered hotel slippers that looked dubious; I stayed in socks. The shared bathroom had no shower gel, I couldn’t find any towels, and there was no deodorant for the toilet area. On the sink, only two used soap bars from another hotel. Wi‑Fi, advertised, was missing, and the terrace was also inaccessible. The owner seemed deaf and avoided answering questions, never even speaking to me. The photos on the site were far from the sad reality, and I was so disgusted I didn’t even take the coffee I’d ordered for breakfast. As soon as I arrived, I wanted to leave.
