Everything was great – the staff were super friendly and the restaurant was a nice spot to eat all day.

The room was roomy and clean, even though there was a cockroach, and the setting was pleasant. It wasn't in the best spot, but it was easy to reach. We booked a safari to Wilpattu through them, which was well organized and reasonably priced. We didn't feel very welcomed by the front desk staff, who refused to give us an air‑conditioned room even though that was what we booked. Luckily the fan worked. The next morning at breakfast, the same guy came over to our table and told us breakfast wasn't included in the room price, which was again wrong. After showing him the booking confirmation, he called his manager to double‑check. We finally got a breakfast that was just okay. The rest of the staff were charming.

“One of the nicest places I have ever stayed at! No "internet-vibe" exaggeration!!!”

The location and layout of this place are fantastic, and the restaurant overlooking the tropical canopy feels like a North of Fantastic spot! The vibe is homely and simply nice, so I'd highly recommend staying here whenever I'm in Sri Lanka. The breakfast was fabulous: on the first day I had fried eggs, and on the second day I got fried potatoes – honestly, it was sensational. There was roasted garlic, fruit juices, papaya or watermelon, good coffee, and sometimes a sugar cane pancake to go with the eggs or omelet. Seriously great stuff!

The staff were friendly, but the hotel itself was in poor condition, not clean, and the breakfast was lacking.

“Buona struttura e ottimi servizi”

We were welcomed quickly and warmly upon arrival, though the room was small but had everything we needed. The front desk guy offered us a reasonably priced temple tour, which we appreciated. Dinner was good, and I recommend it for a night in Anuradhapura.
