“Great place”
We had an amazing time at this lodge, with one tiny downside - the room was a bit too dark. But that didn't spoil our experience at all, thanks to the incredible food, super comfy bed, and fantastic game drives. Our guide, Ozzie, was a real star, sharing his vast knowledge of the animals and plants with us in a way that was easy to understand. He was also a really nice guy to have around.

The lodge had a great location, excellent facilities, and fantastic staff, which made for a really enjoyable stay. The game drives were also top-notch, and the ranger was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. However, the dinner options were a bit limited, and we missed having some other game options, like oryx or kudu, and the salad selection was a bit repetitive.

We had an absolute blast at River Lodge, thanks to our fantastic guide Leigh, who showed us the Big Five and even the Ugly Five! The game drives were exhilarating, especially when a young elephant joined us for a G&T stop. The staff were incredibly spoiling, providing delicious meals and hot towels whenever we needed them. The only downside was the lack of Wi-Fi in our room, but that was a minor quibble in an otherwise magical experience.

From the beautiful location by the river to the thrilling game drives, we were treated to an all-round wonderful experience. Our guide, Lee, was top-notch, and the staff were fantastic, entertaining us with traditional songs and dancing. The only slight letdown was the food, which wasn't quite as good as our first visit.
