How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
We enjoyed two lovely freshly cooked 3‑course breakfasts, and the host was attentive enough to give us a decent take‑away breakfast when we had to leave early for an event. The only downside was that the external entrance steps to our accommodation were unlit in the dark.

The accommodation was comfortable and the location was great, with our own car park letting us drive to Tenby, St David’s, Saundersfoot, etc. The hosts were very friendly, and all the staff and locals at the pub bar made us feel welcome; breakfast and evening meals were superb. There was nothing to dislike—just a lovely three‑night stay.

Stayed in the king size room upstairs. Comfy bed comfy bedding. The warm and welcoming hospitality was nice. Delicious evening meal of a seafood basket with home made chips 👌 We only had one breakfast, as out early for the Ironman event. We opted for the Welsh breakfast which was 1 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, half grilled tomato, beans and mushrooms. Brown toast with tea and coffee. Small but tasty, cereals, juice, jams were available to help yourself also. The cyclists pass this cottage so the road was closed for some time 9-5.30pm. Will need to park in the free castle car park temporarily … not an issue for us as it’s close. Liked the huts in the beer garden. There was a musty smell upon entering the room. Perhaps hidden air fresheners would resolve this. Couldn’t get close enough to the sink. Bedside tables would be our preference and more relaxing. There is a shelf which is set back from the bed so a bit awkward when having a cuppa in bed. Doors are noisy when closing. We were conscious disturbing people staying downstairs in room 1
