“Horrible and tired. Desperately needs an upgrade.”
The restaurant’s food was decent, but the whole place looked exhausted and in dire need of a makeover. The staff seemed to spend the whole time chatting instead of working, and there was no visible management pushing anyone to be productive. The venue didn’t match the photos at all. Bathrooms were broken and filthy, interior lights were out, and fly‑screen wires were missing. We could barely see in the dark when returning to our tent at night because they hadn’t lit the candles, and the lanterns were smashed. The sewer smell was so strong we had to relocate our tents. We told the front desk, but they appeared indifferent. The restaurant furniture was dirty and broken, the bar was grimy, and the carpets were worn and covered in dirt. Nobody seemed to wipe down or sweep anything. The reception area was dirty and old, giving a poor first impression.
