Best Western Hotel Bochum

The proximity to the theater is unbeatable. The staff were very nice, and breakfast was tasty. The bathroom door squeaked, and there was no holder for the toilet paper roll.

“Perfekte Lage zum starlight express, tolles Personal, für 2 Nächte okay”

The staff were super friendly at the reception, breakfast, and the bar in the evening. Breakfast was good, but it seemed aimed at the masses. The bathroom urgently needs a renovation; the shower in the bathtub was very difficult for my parents. There was no storage in the bathroom, and the shower tap was placed in a very inconvenient spot. After showering everything was wet.

“es war kein Aufenthalt aufgrund der Ausquartierung vorhanden!”

We were told two hours before arrival that we would be moved to another hotel, even though we had booked three months earlier. The reason given was overbooking, which probably happened because the price had halved between the time we booked and the time we wanted to check in. It’s strange that the hotel prioritizes profit over customer loyalty. We had to pay for the transfer ourselves. The reception claimed they had tried to reach us multiple times by phone, but we could prove with our phone that this was not the case. We have been guests for years and will never book there again, opting for a different hotel instead. We are very disappointed.

The location is great for the Starlight Express and the parking is convenient. Nothing else to add.

“Aber immer größer und ganzen war alles okay”

Sehr gute Lage freundliches Personal Frühstück war sehr lecker 😋. Die langen warte Zeiten beim Frühstück um überhaupt einen Tisch zu bekommen
